Bonnie U Gruenberg, CNM, MSN, CRNP, is a nurse-midwife who has practiced in community and hospital settings throughout Pennsylvania. Her 15 books include Essentials of Prehospital Maternity Care (2005), the award-willing Birth Emergency Skills Training (2008), and numerous volumes about the wild horses of the Atlantic coast. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and is a former paramedic. She is an avid hiker, ceramic artist, painter, and photographer. She lives with her husband on her hobby farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
