Bonnie U Gruenberg, CNM, MSN, CRNP, is a nurse-midwife who has practiced in community and hospital settings throughout Pennsylvania. Her 15 books include Essentials of Prehospital Maternity Care (2005), the award-willing Birth Emergency Skills Training (2008), and numerous volumes about the wild horses of the Atlantic coast. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and is a former paramedic. She is an avid hiker, ceramic artist, painter, and photographer. She lives with her husband on her hobby farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

With an Ivy League Education from University of Pennsylvania (2002), Bonnie is in midwifery practice in a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She has caught almost 2,000 babies.
