Rare breed chickens made from scratch in small batches...
Sorry! We have downsized! At this time we only hatch to meet our own needs - we seldom have birds for sale. We cannot ship birds or eggs.
You might try my friend Katie at Racing Feathers Farm- she has great birds, and she does ship. https://www.racing-feathersfarm.com/
Greenery Ridge is a small hobby farm in the heart of Southern Lancaster County, PA. We seasonally hatch, hand-raise, socialize, and show unusual chickens in small batches. Most of our breeder birds have names, and we know them as unique individuals. We raise the babies by feeding them mealworms and playing with them twice a day to help them love people. We breed to the standards of perfection for our respective varieties, and bought our foundation stock from exhibition breeders. Bonnie Gruenberg is a PA certified poultry technician and is a member of the Serama Council of North America, the American Poultry Association, American Bantam Association, Marans Chicken Club USA, and the Lebanon Valley Poultry Fanciers, and proudly show our Seramas at poultry shows!
Our nutritional program includes soy-free non-GMO feeds from Ross Feeds, a family owned mill in Quarryville, PA, that sources from local farmers whenever possible. We supplement this high-quality feed with local chemical-free fresh fruits and vegetables in season, herbal supplements, sunflower hearts and mealworms. *Not open to the public to keep our flock safe from disease.*
